2. Privacy Policy
Last updated: 21/09/2026. This explains what personal data PrepKi (prepki.com) collects, why, who sees it, where it is kept, and what you can do about it.
1. Who is responsible
Mindcraft Academy, trading as Mindcraft Academy, Nigdi, Pune, Maharashtra, India, decides why and how your data is used. In the law on data protection this makes us the “Data Fiduciary”. Our Grievance Officer is named at the end of this policy.
2. Children and parents
Many PrepKi students are under 18. Before we make an account for a child, we ask for the consent of a parent or guardian, and we keep a record of it. For example, email confirmation from parent.
We do not track or monitor a child’s behaviour for advertising, and we show no advertising. We do not use a child’s data for anything that could harm the child.
We use a child’s test results only to show them their results and analysis, to help their teachers guide them, and to improve the tests.
A parent or guardian may at any time ask to see the child’s data, correct it, delete it, or withdraw consent (see clause 9).
3. What we collect

We do not store your card, UPI or bank details. Razorpay handles them.
4. How we use it
To run your account and the tests, score them and show your results.
To give access to the plan you bought, and to keep records of payments.
To help your teachers understand how a group is doing, and to improve questions and lessons.
To keep PrepKi secure, prevent misuse and fix faults.
To reply to you and to deal with complaints.
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising.
5. Why we may use it (consent)
We use your data with your consent (or your parent’s or guardian’s consent if you are under 18), given when your account is made. You may withdraw consent at any time (clause 9). If you do, we will stop using your data, but we may not be able to keep your account.
6. Who else sees your data
Only people who need it, and only what they need:
Academy staff and teachers, according to the role each has. For example, a teacher can see the results of the students in their batch, and a person who only looks after coupons cannot see student names.
Companies that help us run PrepKi** (processors),** who may use the data only for us:

- The law: we will share data with the authorities if the law requires it.
If we ever change one of these companies, we will keep this list up to date.
7. Where your data is kept
Your account data is stored in a database in India (Mumbai). The PrepKi application runs on servers in Singapore, and the AI provider works outside India. Data is sent to these only as needed to run PrepKi.
8. How long we keep it
Your account and test data: while your account is active and for 12 month after your last plan ends, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
Payment and order records: for as long as the tax and accounting law requires or 5 years (whichever is lower).
Security logs: 90 days.
After that we delete the data or remove what identifies you.
9. Your rights
You (or your parent or guardian, if you are under 18) may:
ask what data we hold about you and how it is used;
ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
ask us to delete your data, or to close your account;
withdraw your consent;
complain to our Grievance Officer, and if you are not satisfied, to the Data Protection Board of India once it is in place;
name another person to exercise these rights for you if you die or cannot act.
Write to the Grievance Officer (below). We will confirm who you are, and answer within 30 days. Your teacher can also delete a student and all their data from the academy’s system.
10. How we protect it
The site uses HTTPS (encrypted connections).
Passwords are stored only in a scrambled, one-way form.
Staff can see only what their role allows, and important actions are logged.
Repeated wrong sign-ins are slowed down.
The database has access controls.
No system is perfect. If there is a breach that affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
11. Cookies and similar tools
PrepKi keeps a sign-in token and your choices (for example the exam you picked and your voice choice) in your browser’s storage, so that you stay signed in and the site remembers you. We use no advertising or tracking cookies. The site loads its text style (fonts) from Google, which means your internet address is sent to Google when a page loads.
12. The AI teacher
The AI teacher works by sending text to an AI provider. For an explanation we send the question, its options and the solution notes. For a doubt we send what you typed (up to 400 characters), the lesson title and the lines on the board. We do not send your name, email or mobile number. Please do not type personal details into a doubt. The AI is not used to take decisions about you. Its answers can be wrong (see the Terms of Use).
13. Changes to this policy
We will post any change here with its date, and tell you on the site or by email if it is important.
