This is your library of questions. Read a question and its answer, then tick Checked when it is right. Choose a subject below to see only its questions. Tests are made from the questions you have checked (see "Make a test" below the list).
Add questions: a starter set, your own file, or past papers
CSV columns, in the first row: subject, topic, difficulty, marks, question, a, b, c, d, answer, explanation. The answer is A, B, C or D. In the text you can write x^2, e^{2x}, \frac{a}{b}, \int, \pi, \theta, sqrt(x).
Generate questions with AI (Claude)
Writes brand-new practice questions with Claude when your own bank is short on a subject or topic. Always marked "Written for the platform", never claimed as a real exam question. This uses API tokens, so you'll be asked to confirm before it runs.
Read question papers automatically (Claude)
Upload scanned exam papers (PDF) and Claude reads every question: text, options, the answer (matched against a key you paste, or worked out itself with a confidence score) — and figures are cropped out of the page automatically and attached to the question. A figure that couldn't be cropped cleanly is flagged "needs a figure" instead, with a description, for you to add by hand. Everything imports as a draft, same as a paper loaded from a file — filter Questions by "Needs attention" to find anything to check. Runs in the background: you can close this page and it keeps going. For reliability on a small server, keep a batch to a few papers at a time rather than a dozen at once.
Tests
A test shows on the student page when Open to students is ticked. Ticking it, or changing the exam type or access, is saved at once, and a message just above the list of tests confirms it.
